Film Festival founders Steve Pierce & Tony Smith with the help of Dale Dawson & the Montrose Shopping Park Association once again brought us an end of Summer event the whole family enjoyed. This year we showcased "American Graffiti" & "Grease".
Getting ready!... Here Dale hangs movie posters on the new facade he built for the occasion.
Steve Fuller, who does special effects for the movie industry, helped design the facade and is decorating the custom topper he welded with little white lights.
The CV Prom Plus crew served free, hot, popcorn and helped as food runners for the local restaurants.
Classic cars and those dressing 50's style really put us in the mood.
There were even actresses in the audience who dressed the part, like Alexandra Smothers.
There were live bands playing 50's & 60's tunes each night.
Folks couldn't help but get up & dance!
Lots of classic cars cruised Honolulu Ave. Friday night.
There's nothing like watching a movie under the stars on a Summer night.
