Happy New Year! Achieve Your Goals in Montrose

New Year's Resolution is a goal to make a concerted effort for self-improvement. When we ask ourselves, "Am I being the best that I can be?" The answer is in how you get there. Will it be through rigorous exercise? Eating healthier? Being more conscious? Make the Montrose Shopping Park the first place you go to achieve your New Year goals.

We have fitness instructors, master chefs, books, boutiques and salons to help you look and feel your best. In addition to the wide variety of businesses here and proximity to the Foothills, there's a real benefit to supporting local businesses.

Did you know that if each of us spent $100 a year on local businesses instead of chain stores, it would put an extra $3 million a year into our economy? (Source: ABCNews)

As you make goals for yourself, make goals for your community too. Pledge to support local businesses by shopping and dining in Downtown Montrose.

Stay connected with us throughout the year @shopmontrose on Facebook and Instagram and use the #shopsmall #shoplocal #ishopmontrosefirst for the chance to be featured.

Secret Santa

This time of the year is one to reflect and appreciate the abundance life has to offer. When Santa brings toys and goodies, let's think about those who are less fortunate. Do you know someone who could use a special pick-me-up gift from you? It doesn’t have to be too much or expensive. Just something to show you're thinking about them.

For all thoughtful occasions, Montrose is here to help. Take Raffi Anserlian with Executive Clock Gallery for example. Raffi and his father Garo travel around town making house calls, bringing beloved clocks back to life. In this photo, Raffi holds an antique coo coo clock with its owner Marie Flynn. The clock stopped working after Marie's husband passed away and it wasn't until a few weeks ago that Marie decided she would restore this clock in her husband's honor. It's moments like this that make our community special.

Gift giving opportunities are abundant in Montrose. Do you know someone who needs a new pair of shoes? Buy them at Shoe Fantasy. Thoughtful keepsakes? Lara’s Gifts. Quality Toys?  Toms’s and Critters. This is just a small example of how our stores can help. There's something for everyone in the Montrose Shopping Park.

Many of our retailers are keeping their doors open until 8pm on Friday nights. Take advantage of the extended holiday hours and enjoy the festive spirit in Montrose. Shop local and shop small for the benefit of our local economy.

You’ll feel good about yourself for brightening someone’s special day. There's no better feeling than to give rather than to receive.

Merry Christmas!

Santa Comes to Montrose

Ho! Ho! Ho!

It’s Santa and I'm here to lift your holiday spirits with the Montrose Shopping Park. I've sprinkled my magic all over town to make this season extra special for you. Now until December 25th, bring your family and friends to Downtown Montrose and see what it’s all about!

Friday nights, there will be live music along Honolulu Avenue from 5-8pm. For your convenience, choice retailers will also be open ‘til 8pm; very thankful for your business, offering helpful suggestions to serve you best.

Every Saturday and Sunday join us for Old Town Montrose Christmas. I have a special post there so bring the kids to take pictures with me and my elves, ride in a horse drawn carriage, enjoy hand-led pony rides, and listen to live music from the holiday season.

Stroll amongst the twinkling lights of Honolulu Avenue while getting everything done in the world’s most charming town. From North Pole Treats to elf-made gifts… Make a list and “check it twice” because there’s something for everyone in Montrose.

Enjoy yourself this holiday season by supporting local business. Save on gas and time. The beauty of shopping local is that you invest in this community... So think big by shopping small in the Montrose Shopping Park

Love from the North Pole,

Santa

Right now is the perfect time to explore your artistic side and create something special for your loved ones in the Montrose Shopping Park.
