This Is How We Holiday SHOP In Montrose

The MONTROSE SHOPPING PARK is such a happy and peaceful place to SHOP! There are so many one of a kind boutiques and cafes. We call it
SHOP & DINE HOLIDAY IN MONTROSE!

The idea is you discover new stores, make a few purchases, enjoy the beautiful holiday setting, and work up an appetite. Did you know TENMIMI has a LUNCH SPECIAL during the week? It's an amazing well priced meal with all kinds of extras. Chinese food is so appealing this time of year.

Just look at these windows beckoning you inside with holiday cheer!

It's comforting among all the newness to see stores like FAYE'S  specializing in cozy nightgowns. Did you know actress Helen Mirren shopped here when she filmed the movie HITCHCOCK inside? Montrose has history & charm!

One of our most popular restaurants is THE BLACK COW CAFE, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Have you tried their COCONUT CAKE and MEXICALI COFFEE? Just ask the locals!

The doors are OPEN! Come inside!

THE T ROOM is pouring holiday cheer! Christmas tea is a MUST to add to your Montrose shopping experience!

Is this a Christmas card? You would think so! Our horse drawn trolley rides are FREE! Our gift to you for shopping Montrose on the weekends during OLD TOWN CHRISTMAS.

This is how Montrose makes you feel! Like dressing up in red and sporting matching Santa hats!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Happy Holidays!
THANK YOU for shopping and dining Montrose!
We are the real deal! Montrose IS the Merriest!

Secret Santa

This time of the year is one to reflect and appreciate the abundance life has to offer. When Santa brings toys and goodies, let's think about those who are less fortunate. Do you know someone who could use a special pick-me-up gift from you? It doesn’t have to be too much or expensive. Just something to show you're thinking about them.

For all thoughtful occasions, Montrose is here to help. Take Raffi Anserlian with Executive Clock Gallery for example. Raffi and his father Garo travel around town making house calls, bringing beloved clocks back to life. In this photo, Raffi holds an antique coo coo clock with its owner Marie Flynn. The clock stopped working after Marie's husband passed away and it wasn't until a few weeks ago that Marie decided she would restore this clock in her husband's honor. It's moments like this that make our community special.

Gift giving opportunities are abundant in Montrose. Do you know someone who needs a new pair of shoes? Buy them at Shoe Fantasy. Thoughtful keepsakes? Lara’s Gifts. Quality Toys?  Toms’s and Critters. This is just a small example of how our stores can help. There's something for everyone in the Montrose Shopping Park.

Many of our retailers are keeping their doors open until 8pm on Friday nights. Take advantage of the extended holiday hours and enjoy the festive spirit in Montrose. Shop local and shop small for the benefit of our local economy.

You’ll feel good about yourself for brightening someone’s special day. There's no better feeling than to give rather than to receive.

Merry Christmas!

Santa Comes to Montrose

Ho! Ho! Ho!

It’s Santa and I'm here to lift your holiday spirits with the Montrose Shopping Park. I've sprinkled my magic all over town to make this season extra special for you. Now until December 25th, bring your family and friends to Downtown Montrose and see what it’s all about!

Friday nights, there will be live music along Honolulu Avenue from 5-8pm. For your convenience, choice retailers will also be open ‘til 8pm; very thankful for your business, offering helpful suggestions to serve you best.

Every Saturday and Sunday join us for Old Town Montrose Christmas. I have a special post there so bring the kids to take pictures with me and my elves, ride in a horse drawn carriage, enjoy hand-led pony rides, and listen to live music from the holiday season.

Stroll amongst the twinkling lights of Honolulu Avenue while getting everything done in the world’s most charming town. From North Pole Treats to elf-made gifts… Make a list and “check it twice” because there’s something for everyone in Montrose.

Enjoy yourself this holiday season by supporting local business. Save on gas and time. The beauty of shopping local is that you invest in this community... So think big by shopping small in the Montrose Shopping Park.

Love from the North Pole,

Santa

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Get ready for the most charming experience in Montrose! It's the "hap-happiest" season of all with festive window dressings, sweet treats, millions of flickering lights, and merchants going all out to make Montrose the best place to spend this holiday season.
As the town begins its transformation, we wanted to inform you of key dates to mark on the calendar:

The first day of grand festivities starts with music to your ears from singing carolers at the annual White Friday Tree Lighting Ceremony November 25th. Join the Montrose Shopping Park as all the merchants come together to make the town look and feel like Christmas.

Immediately following White Friday is Small Business Saturday. Invest in the community by shopping local businesses on November 26th. The merchants are working hard to make Montrose your one stop-shop for unique gifts, services and menus that offer holiday cheer with hearty meals and catering options for those holiday parties.

December 3rd, come one come all to the 40th Annual Montrose-Glendale Christmas Parade! Arrive early for Christmas shopping and an enjoyable experience at the restaurants. "Tis' the season to be jolly" spirit is what Montrose strives to deliver.

From White Friday to Christmas, enjoy the wonderful weekend tradition of carolers, horse drawn trolley rides, free pony rides, visits with Santa Claus and more. It’s all apart of the Old Town Montrose Christmas experience. Visit shopmontrose.com for details!
