Californian’s living near big cities often
spend disproportionate amounts of time in their vehicles, traveling to and from
work. With stop and go traffic, consider how stressful it can be. We encourage
you to lessen your carbon footprint by driving less.
So here’s our pitch… “Drive less and do more in
Montrose!”
From specialty shops, to hair and nails, dog
grooming, banking services, copy and print services, massage therapy,
chiropractic, dry cleaning, alterations, watch repair and jewelry cleaning,
grab and go items and gift shops; all this to say, "whatever you need, we’ve
got you covered!
"Fix it” shops do well in Montrose. From Mayhall’s Sewing and Vacuum Center to Frank’s Shoe Repair, their motto is: "quality products that last longer are worthy of repair, rather than tossing them to the landfills."
With many fine salons, jazz up your hair, nails and makeup, and even take your pet to Anderson’s Pet shop or Bath n’ Biscuit for grooming of their own.
For print and copy services, try Copy Network
and Digital Photo. This month, Copy Network is celebrating their 25th
Anniversary! Head in for all of your print and marketing needs.
We also encourage you to log onto the shopmontrose.com website and browse for links to all the shops and merchants wanting to serve you best.
The Montrose Shopping Park Association wants to inform you on their efforts to "stand strong" for this community with proven systems that work - meeting regularly to evaluate what needs to be done. This week our Sunday Harvest Market
features "super sweet" silver white corn (delicious!), Chinese
Eggplant, and lemongrass/cilantro with the roots. And for your entertainment,
while shopping, the ever popular "The Subs" trio playing all the
songs we remember. It all here at the Montrose Sunday Market in the
2300 block of Honolulu Avenue from 9 am until 2 pm. And remember to shop
and dine with our Montrose Shopping Park merchants. Quaint shops and exclusive
restaurants . . . it's all here in the Montrose Shopping Park.
